This one-day class is for the beginner sewer. It will cover how to thread the machine, wind a bobbin, and basic sewing notions. Students will make a 12" x 12" basic pillow to take home. Sewing machine, sewing notions, and pillow supplies will be provided.
All supplies needed for the class will be provided by the instructor. A supply fee of $15.00 is due to the instructor at the beginning of class.

In this class, we will discuss many ways to improve your photography skills, whether you are using your cell phone or a DSLR camera. As we explore what makes a good picture, we will cover essential principals of design and composition.
A DSLR camera is NOT required for this class, but you are welcome to bring one if you have it. Beginner photographers equipped with cell phone cameras are welcome!

Want to take your photography to the next level? Learn to easily edit your images. We'll cover the basics of photo editing in this class. The instructor will demonstrate mostly on an iPhone and also show the basics of computer editing with Adobe's Lightroom program. The lesson also applies well to iPads, Android phones, and other simple computer editing programs such a Apple's Photos program. Photo taking and printing tips will be given as well.

Come paint with Kris Salva at The Enrichment Center! Classes take place every other Thursday. Students will paint a variety of subjects and experiment with different styles of acrylic painting.
This is an open-studio environment where students can paint the subjects of their choice with guidance from the instructor. The instructor will also have a guided step-by-step painting available each class for students who do not want to pick their own subjects.

Come create an homage to your favorite furry friend in this pet portrait class! Your pet will be honored on an 9x12 canvas, using acrylics.

We all have photos that would make wonderful, heartfelt paintings: homes or other buildings, vacation memories, landscapes, florals - even people!
Instructor Joan Wilkes will help you turn your photos into acrylic paintings by transferring outlines to canvas and sharing her transparent layering technique that has proven successful for all levels of painters.

Join us in learning a new, meditative hobby!
The Zentangle method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by using structured patterns. These patterns are called tangles, and they are created with combinations of dots, lines, curves, s-curves and orbs. Students will learn to create their tangles on paper using micron pens, gel pens, and chalk pencils.
The instructor will provide all the necessary materials for the class.

Join Certified Ross Instructor ® Quintin Burlingame as he leads students of all skill levels through the Bob Ross Wet-on-Wet technique ®. In this oil painting, based on Season 24 Episode 1 of the Joy of Painting, students will paint a mountain scene on a 12x16 canvas.

Wheels and kilns on site; make it, bake it, take it right here at the Fairview Rec Center.
